Sorry I have been missing again. My wonderful father in law passed away from lung cancer. I will be so glad when this year is over, my uncle, aunt, mom and father in law have passed away this year :(

I grew up in Eastern Ky the mountains, my dad loved to dig ginseng, we spent a lot of times in the woods.
My daughter wrote this poem several years ago and I made this layout for the funeral for her Papaw, my father in law.
This was my mom and dad while they were dating. My sissy has been coming and scrapping with me, she found this paper and it was perfect for this layout and pictures.

I made this card for my friends baby shower. So cute......

I finally got in my scrap room and created this layout for this months baby class. I really needed this, it helps keeping my hands busy.

I got to play today in my scrap room for National Scrapbook Day. I told my sweetie that I was going to my room and play all day, he was so sweet and let me. The kids played in and outside today in between the rain. I got this two page layout done for one of the Challenges at My Pink Stamper- Challenge 11, May Day. I need to take some family pictures to add to it. I know I am bad, my LSS has me ruined with designing classes, I make the layout first and then add pictures. I got to play with some of my favorite Cricut cartridges, Serenade and Storybook. I found this awesome sketch on the internet at Sketch Savvy. I am still working on some of the great challenges at My Pink Stamper.

This picture is so special, it was right after Caleb's hair started coming back in from chemo treatments and we had just found out he was in remission. He had also just started to walk a little bit. I could not have gone through Caleb's sickness without my husband's strength. He is a wonderful Daddy and I am so thankful for him. This is a little different for me, but I love it. I love the pink and I added glitter to the snowflakes. This is the January Inspiration Class. The magic of is Winter Woodland, Winter is Alphalicious, and the cutie snowman is Doodlecharms.

I really like how this one turned out. I got to play with some of my Cricut cartridges. The font is Songbird, the little bird is Winter Woodland, the flourishes are Serenade. The cute snowman is Speaking of Winter. Songbird is one my very favorite fonts. This is the January Vintage Baby Class.

I love these cards, I think I like them more than last years I designed. I love the Santa card, I think I will make those to send to my family and friends. I can't decide which one is my favorite. This layout is for Novembers Vintage Baby. I couldn't get a good picture of this class. I think the glimmer mist on the layout was throwing off my camera. Believe me it is much prettier in person.

We have awesome sketches to work with this month at Frosted Designs I love these sketches.

Our challenge at Frosted Designs this week was to use Teal, Orange & Brown for our projects. The sketch and color combo was perfect for the pictures of my little shih tzu we just adopted. Come and play along with us in the challenge this week. My Toyota club challenge was to use fabric, so I attached the ribbon to meet that challenge. With all the challenges I am trying to combine them all :) I always miss the Amazing race with my Toyota group because with all the challenges it gives me time to scrap for myself, but now with Frosted Designs Challenges it is really getting me to scrap for myself and I love it.

If you participate in all 3 challenges and become a follower you will be qualified to win a prize on each site. You can do all 3 challenges on one project or one for each challenge., it's up to you. I did this project for the three challenges, and I also added my weekly challenge item for my Chipper Clippers Challenge (use a tissue box on your layout: I cut out the scallop circle and heart with my QK and then covered it in matching paper)

Our challenge this week was to use at least one flourish on a layout/card/project. Come and play along with us, this challenge closes Oct. 9th and the winner announced Oct. 1oth. We were suppose to use a paint chip on our layout. I cut out the little butterflies from a paint chip and put them on my layout. It is so nice when I can combine them into one project. Club Layouts

I love it when my Toyota Scrapbook Club does their Amazing Race Challenges. This is last weeks Challenge Layout: We were suppose to use a label on our layout. I used the label from my favorite coffee place. I still need to take a picture for it, I think I will take one of my children enjoying their smoothies from there, I have scrapped enough of myself for awhile.

This is my page for my this weeks challenge. We were suppose to use a piece of memorabilia, I found my son's birth announcement and wanted him to know he is our miracle. He is such a miracle baby, first for being born and then for God healing him from cancer. I am so thankful for my children.

I will put the September vintage class on here tomorrow I need to add a few things to it.

Scrapbook Club Layouts

We were to use part of a greeting card on a layout, the flowers and butterfly were from an old card my daughter had.
We had to scrapbook a picture of ourselves scrapbooking, and scrapbook diva somewhere on the layout. I didn't have any so I had hubby take one and then I took some pictures of my scraproom, my favorite place in the house.

This is the July Vintage Baby class and I love how these layouts turned out. I got to use one of my new Cricut cartridges: Lyrical Letters. (I really love this cartridge), the butterfly is from Sesame Street Friends. The flourishes and flowers are Kaisercraft. I spritzed it with Sandy Beach glimmer mist and it made it so pretty.

I am late again finishing this months class, my friend Cindy would love this one. She loves pink and brown and I kept thinking about her while I was working with these papers. There is a blue version if you happen to have a handsome prince instead. I got to play with some of my new Cricut cartridges Jubilee and Lyrical Letters. I think Lyrical Letters may become one of my favorites, all the fonts are awesome, especially with the new update on the software where it lets you weld them together.

I finally have all of my sketches that I have found online in a binder organized by where I have found them, hopefully this will help inspire me to scrap, I just can't seem to get motivated lately.

Cleaning out Scrap Room

I have been cleaning out my scraproom and Ihave decided that I am going to part with most of my QK alphabets. I don't use them at all since I have bought my Cricut. I am also going to sell my QK Silhouette. It have hardly been used at all. I just like my Cricut, I know it's nice that you can cut out any font from your computer with it but I just haven't used it since the Cricut. I will list each item with the price and shipping will be determined if you see something that you want:

The Best Big Sister Layout

I scrapped all by myself Saturday evening, it took me awhile but I was able to complete this layout of my daughter. (I wish I had a scrappy buddy/friend to spend time with.) Most of the time she is a wonderful big sister and Caleb loves her so much. They have became so much closer since Caleb's been in remission. I am truly blessed to have such wonderful children.

This layout started as a scraplift from CK magazine. I had went to Michaels and found this paper pack and fell in love with the colors. I also picked up the matching flowers and chipboard shapes. The title Best Sister and the leaves are my favorite Cricut cartridge Storybook. The small butterflies are a Martha Stewart punch. Hope you have a wonderful week!!!

Totally Adorable Vintage Baby Class

I really like these layouts for this months class. I love my Cricut software and I use it on every layout. It makes life so much easier when designing for a class, I made the background for the green polkadot paper with the software by welding everything together. I used several cartridges on these layouts:Plantin Schoolbook, Storybook (my favorite), Street sign, Sesame Street Font, Home Decor, and Wedding.
Welcome to all my followers, you guys are awesome. Hopefully when I get my new computer in a few days that I will be able to enjoy blog hopping and be able to follow everyone's blog. My computer is old and slow and it takes too long, we have DSL but it's like dial up waiting for pages to load.

This is the layout for April's Vintage Baby class. I finished it last night and I didn't like it at first but when it wass finished I really liked the brighter colors.
This is a layout I made this past weekend when my friend Brandy came over and scrapped with me. I have been so busy with everything it was nice scrapping with friends and just relaxing.

My friend Brandy came over this weekend to scrap with me. We didn't get a lot done but we had a lot of fun. This is a layout I did of my two very special guys. I still need to add some journaling. They were looking on the internet at old tractors when I snapped this picture of them. The words Daddy, Caleb and Buddies was made using a strip of Core Color paper run through a labelmaker and then sanded to bring out the inner color. We found the idea in my new PageMaps book, if you haven't bought it yet it is packed with all kinds of great ideas.
I will post some more projects later that I have been working on for Melissa.

Can you believe that I am early getting this class finishes, it is January's Scrapbook Inspirations Class layout. It has lots of glitter to make it extra sparkly. My scrap table is covered in glitter, but it was worth it to make these snowmen even cuter.

I designed this little cutie for the project of the month for December. I used Kaisercraft wooden plaques and it will make a great holiday decoration for Christmas. It's misted with Iridiscent gold glimmer mist to add more sparkle. I will be adding several more classes that I am finishing up designing in a few days.

This is my layout for my Toyota Club challenge this week. Our challenge was to use the jewels on a project. I had to pop the jewels off the bases to make them work on the flowers and santa hat. I love the Christmas solutions cartridge, it has some beautiful vintage style cuts on it.
Christmas, Poinsettias, & Snowflakes - Christmas Solutions, Accent square - Home Accents, Time - Calligraphy Collection and Scallop background square - Storybook.
The branches are a Martha Stewart punch and the smallest snowflakes are a Quickutz die.

My Little Punkin Challenge Layout

This is another challenge layout for my Toyota Club. I love these fall papers that Melissa got in at the store. Our challenge was to use the pumpkin die cut. I selected a white one and used ink and chalk to color it in to match my paper. I also chalked and inked the a background for the pumpkin.

I am actually a couple of weeks early on this class. I think I am finally getting in a routine since Caleb started preschool. This layout turned out so sweet and soft.

I am working on Decembers classes and hopefully they will be done in a few days, I am also working on Christmas cards.

November Scrapbook Inspirations Class & Challenge Layouts

I designed this 2 page layout for this months Inspirations Class. I love this Kaiser Craft paper and the leaves from the new Blackletter Cricut cartridge. The flowers are also Kaiser Craft. I used several cartridges on these layouts: Our-Cursive 101, Family- Home Accents, Traditions- Base Camp, Leaves-Blackletter, Scallop circle-George & border- Plantin Schoolbook. A great layout to add those special Thanksgiving memories to, past or present.

These are a couple of layouts that I did for a couple of my Toyota Chipper Clipper Club challenges.
Special: The challenge was to use a piece of patterned paper.
Special-Stone Script and Scallop-Plantin Schoolbook. This was a really simple layout, it just took some time to cut out all the flowers and swirls. I found the inspiration for this layout on the Bo Bunny Blog.
Christmas Wishes: This also used the Tim Holtz Acrylic tiles that was one of our weekly challenges.
This one is actually recreated to highlight this beautiful Bo Bunny paper at the store.
Christmas-Wild Card, Wishes-Street Sign, Snowflake- Joys of the Season, Accent Square-Storybook and flourishes are Home Accents. Again I used Tim Holtz acrylic tiles. These are awesome and I love how easy they are to use. I love the font that is on the Wild Card Cartridge. It's very whimsical and I am sure I will be using it the most out of all my font cartridges.
In our club we have been doing an Amazing Race, weekly challenges and they have been so much fun and I appreciate our leader Sherry for all of her hard work.

This was a page for the weekly challenge through my scrapbook club. We had to use the acrylic tiles on a layout. I just got the Wild Card cartridge and I love the font on it. I love these layouts, maybe because Fall is my favorite time of year. I used a lot of Cricut cartridges on this one: Corner accents & flourishes - Home Accents, Pumpkins - Pooh & Friends, Scallop rectangle - Graphically Speaking, Sunflowers - 50 States, Little - Street Sign, Pumpkin - Mickey Font.

Sorry I know I have been a bad blogger again. We have been so busy this month and school started a few weeks ago and I just can't seem to get caught up. I have a few layout to show you that I have done the last few weeks.
These are two layouts that I have done for challenges for the Toyota scrapbook club.

This is the Vintage Baby class that I designed for August. The Storybook Cricut cartridge is my favorite. I have really been using it alot since I bought it.

Altered Picture Frame

I altered this picture frame for my scrap room. I used the new Storybook Cartridge to cut the word love and butterfiles. I love how it turned out. I think this may be my favorite cartridge so far.

I painted the frame pink and antiqued it. After it was dry I spritzed it with glimmer mist. I added stickles to the butterfly wings.

The flourish in the corner is from Home Accents and the heart is Plantin Schoolbook. The tag is a QK die.

BBTB Weekly Challenge

This week were asked to use the butterfly cut from the Teardrop cartridge. I had made this file a few months ago for a Spring Card, so I just changed a few things on it. I trimmed the antennaes off and used flourishes from the Stretch Your Imagination cartridge. I also used Cursive 101 for the word Believe. The white flourishes are Quickutz as well as the tag. The tag was stamped with a stamp from the Quickutz Sophisticate set.

I love this line of paper by Kaisercraft, the floral is Playtime giggle and the pink flower was also cut from Playtime laugh. The base of the card and the words are Bazzill. The yellow flower is from Heidi Swapp.All the edges were inked with my favorite color of Cats Eye ink-Chestnut Roan. I also used Diamond Stickles on the white flourishes and to finish it I spritzed the whole card with Walnut Gold Glimmer Mist.

This is the latest vintage baby class I designed for Scrap Paper Scizzors. The flourishes are Home Accents Cricut Cartridge as well as the fancy box accent. The title is cut using Stone Script cartridge. The butterflies and tags are QK.
